Plan B alternate activities for your itinerary

Save a backup activity for any day. It stays outside your committed plan until you decide to use it.

A Plan B in TripPlanr is a backup activity saved for a specific day, for rain, a closure, or a change of plans. It sits beneath the day's main plan, clearly labeled, and does nothing until you choose to use it.

How it works

  1. Add a Plan B to any day.Give it an optional time if it is a direct alternative to something scheduled.
  2. Keep planning.Inactive Plan B activities are left out of schedule conflicts, travel-time calculations, Arrival Delay Recovery, budget totals, expense settlements, and public itinerary links.
  3. Choose Use this Plan B.Its notes, booking status, place, duration, and cost carry over.
  4. Review any overlap.Swap the activities so the original moves to Plan B, or add the backup after reviewing the overlap.

Plan B appears in the Builder, itinerary, browser print view, and offline PDF itinerary. It is available on the Free plan.
