Getting started

What is TripPlanr?

A web-based trip planner by Table & Travel. You build your own day-by-day itinerary, and TripPlanr checks conflicts, estimates travel time, tracks budgets, and splits group costs.

Do I need an account?

Yes, to save a trip. Sign up with email and password, Google, or Microsoft. Email accounts are verified by email. Apple sign-in is not currently supported. You can also try it first.

Is there an iPhone or Android app?

Not yet. TripPlanr is a responsive web app that works in desktop and mobile browsers and can be installed as a web app on supported devices.

Does TripPlanr use AI?

No. It does not generate itineraries. You choose every activity and time.

Planning

Does TripPlanr import booking confirmation emails?

Not currently. You can enter booking details and mark activities Booked or Confirmed.

Does TripPlanr book flights, hotels, or activities?

No. Reservations are made with the provider. TripPlanr stores and organizes the details.

Does TripPlanr track my flight?

No. If you are delayed, use Arrival Delay Recovery and enter the new arrival time.

How does travel-time planning work?

TripPlanr estimates walking, driving, and public-transit time between stops where routing data is available, and you can override any estimate manually. Estimates are planning aids, not navigation.

What is Plan B?

Plan B lets you save one or more backup activities for a day. Inactive backups stay out of route, conflict, Delay Recovery, and committed budget calculations until you choose to use them.

Can I view my trip on a map?

Yes. Builder and Itinerary include a List and Map view using locations already saved with your trip. The map does not turn TripPlanr into a navigation app.

Help topic

Money

Can I track a budget in more than one currency?

Yes. Set a base currency, enter costs in others, and TripPlanr converts them while keeping the original amount.

Can I split expenses with friends who do not have accounts?

Yes. Add them as named companions.

Does TripPlanr move money between travelers?

No. Settle Up shows who owes whom. Payment happens outside TripPlanr.
